As a former employee of a big-box tax prep chain, I saw how many clients weren’t being treated with compassion and acceptance. A one-size-fits-all shop often isn’t going to serve the needs we have in the neurodivergent and queer communities. This is a safe space to lay it all out so we can work together on the way forward. Is there a free consultation?
Yes, we offer a free consultation. During this conversation, you will have a chance to discuss your situation and decide if we’re a good fit.
What if I don’t use my legal name?
No problem! Our initial client questionnaire will ask you a variety of questions including how we should address you, both name and pronouns.
Can you help me if I haven’t filed in a while?
Absolutely. Don’t worry, being behind on taxes doesn’t make you a bad person. You may be overwhelmed and stressed behind that wall of awful, but remember to breathe. We can work together to make a plan to take care of everything.
Can I change my tax plan later?
Yes, you can change to/from working with us for your personal and/or business taxes. But consistency over time allows us to provide the best value to you.
What if I have a non-traditional job or occupation?
We don’t care about what society considers “traditional employment.” Everyone has unique situations and needs. We treat everyone with care and discretion.
Can you help me if I haven’t filed in a while?
Yes, there are two kinds of discounts that we offer. First is a discount for new clients on their first return prepared here. Second is a referral discount for you and the new client that you refer to us.
